Sodium is EVERYWHERE

as a new cardiac patient, i've been advised to keep my sodium intake to under 2000 mg - the only way to do that is by paying strict attention to serving size, in addition to sodium content; who can't eat a whole tube of crackers? but the serving size might only be 5 crackers so you just ate six times the sodium (and calories)!

Your heading couldn't be more true. I'm following the nutrisystem diet and now that I am tracking everything here I am shocked at the sodium level in the food. Always thought I was a pretty healthy eater and never add salt to my food, but if you eat "packaged" food there is NO getting away from it!
