My entire life has been a roller coaster of weight gain, loss, & gain again. I lost a lot of weight 10 years ago with weight watchers & was thin for the only time ever before gaining back
almost 100 lbs. I have tried MFP several times over the years & do well for a few weeks or months before going back to my old habits. I am now 40 & I'm so tired of this fight. So here I go again. I want to tackle the "why" of my struggles & move forward on being healthy. I am the heaviest I've ever been. I'm hoping that maybe using the MFB community for the first time will be an extra tool for success. I would love to hear from others with the same life long battle. Strength in numbers.

Are you using an all or nothing approach? I mean if you go off your diet for the day do you just stay off it? I have lost over 100lbs by making my goal fitness and then weightloss. If i have a day where i eat to many calories i just wipe my butt off and get right back on. Its a long journey and it has many ups and downs.

That's been my problem. I do well for so long & then it's like I sabotage myself. Some days if I slip up, I will just keep making better choices the rest of the day. Other times, one bad choice & I'm eating everything in sight. I'm definitely an emotional eater.

I'm 42 and have been struggling with weight and body image since my teenage years. I'm a boredom eater. I have 70-75 lbs to lose still and would love to join you on this journey. Feel free to add me.
