hello all,
I've been focusing the past two years on finding a new love after my divorce. My 5 month relationship just ended and I need something different to focus on other than men! Anyone know what I mean? T.

Ain't nothing better in this world to focus on than yourself! Do it. Take this as a me-time vacation and do stuff you've always wanted to do. Join a class, go on a trip with friends (Without having to clear it with a guy!), get fit! You've got this.0

No... not changing teams! Just a break, and get in better shape. And that has to make me feel better! Thanks for the support0

People need to fall in love with themselves before they can love others. I needed to learn that more than anyone!! When you're confidence is high and you're thinking "I don't need no stinkin man" that's when the perfect one will come along!! Do something for yourself for a while. Learn how to fall back in love with you0 -
I'm on a new road to change my life !!! It's never too late !!!0

I've never been married, but I know exactly how you feel! I've been irish dancing for over 10 years and it was a hobby for the longest time. Now I've decided to work harder at competing, and possibly try to use my experience with my exercise science degree once it's completed. Making that decision really helped me to put my focus on myself. I'm eating better and feeling better...and not distracting myself with men and relationships for my happiness! Find something that you love...and that can help you!0

Such great advice, thank you! I do need to find something I love, a passion, just don't know what that is yet. I decided I should get healthy, even if it's not my passion to exercise and eat right, only good things will come from that.
I think I will set a goal to run a 5K, I've tried to run before with only a little success before something gets me off track. It will be good to have a very specific goal to work toward and to focus my mind on0 -
I'm getting divorced this week. It sucks. There's probably another 40 days that I'm stuck living with my soon-to-ex-husband and his drone teenage kids. I'm trying to look at it as 40 days to focus on getting healthy, losing weight, and running as much as possible.
So i guess my advice to you is similar to what you're advising yourself above. Look at this as a period to not think too much, just do. Then when it's over at least you'll definitely have something to feel good about.0
