Yes.
If that's what you're doing.... Why are you doing it?0 -
Are you like 4'2"/80 lbs?
If not then yeah...you're going to lose some muscle doing that.0 -
Probably. Any weight loss, even slow weight loss, is going to cause muscle loss if you aren't increasing some kind of muscle building activity, just by virtue of your body carrying less weight.
If you're looking to preserve or gain muscle while losing fat, you're generally going to want to be close in calories to what your goal weight's maintenance should be. You're also going to want to consume protein equal to .75-1 g / lb of lean body mass.0 -

Nobody needs to do this to lose weight.
Pick a sensible deficit, do some sort of activity and get some protein.0 -

How can you lose muscle if you are eating high protein? And lifting weights?

You can and will lose muscle eating that way. Are you working out? Why are you eating so few calories?0
-
OP you are 5 pounds away from your goal ticker.
Why are you still eating so little?0 -
Not only will you lose muscle, but you are only setting the stage for binge days instead of eating at sensible sustainable deficit.0

60g isn't high protein. And your deficit is likely massive, unless you're 4ft nothing.0 -

Possibly. How tall are you? What type of exercise/activity are you doing? How long do you plan to do this? How many carbs are eating?0 -

60g is high protein?

everybody loses muscle when losing weight. The goal should be to minimize muscle loss. By incorporating about 1gm of protein per lb of lbm and adjusting remaining macros accordingly to fit in your calorie goals, coupled with some resistance training, you should be fine, don't worry about it too much!0

That's not high protein. And yes, you'll lose muscle. It's inevitable when you lose weight with an extreme deficit.0 -

You aren't eating high protein. I am 5'4" 132lbs, I lift 3 days a week, run 3 days a week and I aim for (at least) 120g protein each day that I'm aiming to lose weight. I also eat about 1750 cals per day and I'm losing consistently. Even if you are very short, if you are working out there is no reason for you to be aiming for 1000 calories a day.0 -

So you're eating 1000 total calories then working out meaning your net is too low ... the same issue you had in February. Are you still netting under 500?
The body can only metabolize so much fat. When your body needs fuel beyond what it has stored as glycogen or accessible fat, it turns to other sources including muscle. As you were told months ago, low net intake has dangers.0 -
The body has minimum requirements.. if it does not receive those requirements it begins to consume its self in order to maintain vital functions, just as the body cannot choose where it loses fat it also cannot regulate where it find's it's protein , fat, glucose, so not only will you lose muscle BUT you can potentially harm vital organs such as liver, kidney's, heart etc... do some research on the effects of malnutrition... wonderful things like hair loss, dehydration, loose teeth... not to mention hampering your endocrine and exocrine systems from functioning properly are all on the list of why extreme dieting are not recommended... and lets NOT forget the emotional toll on YOU your friends and family...0
