I have both of these jillian michaels DVDs: which one do you think is most effective?

  • BFBM does not use weights(other than own body weight) but is killer cardio and the session is longer which you'll burn more cal's. I would say a combination of these 2 video's and you'll get to your goal in no time. I also have NMTZ and Ripped in 30. One thing I'm certain of is, any of Jillians videos are effective if you stick with them. Good Luck!:smile:

    I have both as well and used BFBM first and it is really hard because it is all cardio. I usually can only do about half the workout in a day. I just got into 30DS recently and find it more doable. I also like that there is the strength training circuits. I think they are both good workouts, you could mix it up and do one every other day. I want to get back into doing BFBM again though because it kicks my butt!

    I think they are both really effective, if you do a combination of both of them. BFBM is harder for me since it is longer and its all cardio, no weights. I like the 30DS though since it incorporates weights. Why not switch back and forth between them? That's what I do with all of my JM's videos and I love it!
