So lately I've been noticing that when I step on the scale in the morning it will read 164.4 then I do it again and it will give me a different higher reading such as 165.....though its not a HUGE difference I'd still like to know if I am losing weight. Do you take the first reading or do you take the 2nd or 3rd reading?

I go with the lower number always. I weigh first thing after I've gone to the bathroom and I weigh completey nude. Morning is the best time to weigh before you have eaten anything. Hope this helps:) Good luck!0

I usually get on and weigh myself a few times and see what comes up consistently the most. I've only been on here a few weeks and have weighed in 3 times, but it seems to work for me!0

I weigh in at the same time, on the same day, once a week. Every Wednesday at 4:30 am, right after I get up! Your weight fluxuates so much that you have to pick one standard time to weigh in.0

I do the same thing, except mine is Wednesday evening. I'm a leader in a TOPS chapter and our meetings are on Wednesdays, so that's my "official" weigh in.0 -
I pee and pee and pee!! Then I strip down naked....and take that step on the scale! :flowerforyou:0

I also weigh in a few times and use the number that comes up the most.0

I weigh in every day before I shower. Your body weight naturally fluctuates and while many people say that weighing in every day is bad, I take a healthy approach to it. After a while, you know your natural fluctuations. For example, my weight used to be in the 179-181 range. Now its in the 173-177 range. I know I have lost weight because the top and bottom number of my range have gone down. I track my weight for mfp using the upper number in my range in case I was dehydrated one day when I hit a lower number (too depressing to go up in weight on mfp, so I wait until I am def there or below). This works well for me. I know if my upper number starts going up to exercise more or eat less and I get encouraged when I hit new lows. Just be careful not to get excited about one number. Our bodies are mostly made up of water and because that changes there is no one correct weight.0

My scale at home sucks- I weigh in Monday's at weight watchers ( till my membership is up on the 1st of June bc it's expensive and I found and love mfp) I weigh in every tuesday at curves- it's going to be 2 weeks from joining this week) and I weigh in on Fridays bc I'm doing a weight loss challenge with some coworkers. I hate the fact that every scale is different but I like to see that at least the amount is the same between ww and curves.0
