You can change your goal amounts. I reduce carbs 5 and raise protein 5 to agree with my diabetic diet. You can do this in the goals area. It just has to come out to 100%.0

Going over one or two of your macros is fine--many people look at their fat/protein goals as minimums to reach. But if you hit/go over on all three, then you'll be over on your calories.0

I set my carbs to 30 or 35% and aim to reduce or eliminate all refined carbs. That means no bread. No flour tortillas. Be careful of energy bars, so called "health" bars, and the like. Get most of your carbs from veges (not potatoes and corn) and you'll see wonders happen, I bet. I still have very carbohydrate meals from time to time but they are a minority. The meal where this happens most often is breakfast where a few times a week I'll have multi-grain porridge oats since my wife likes them. I try not to eat this before a run though.u
I'm quite ok with my fat % being higher. I run ~50km a week. A higher fat diet with sufficient protein is not going to hurt me.
I self diagnosed myself as being lactose intolerant years ago. A few weeks ago I noticed that milk products weren't bothering me at all. Before a glass of milk would give me GI distress for 24 hours. Now? Nothing.
I'm eating more yoghurt, cheese, and drinking milk again - something I thought I'd never do.
Losing 1kg a week consistently.
