What are you talking about? I'm sorry I don't get it

MFP gives you a goal of calories excluding exercise - eat those

when you exercise eat back 50% of the calories from the MFP database

if you follow MFP calorie guidelines you need to eat back at least a portion of exercise cals.

You should aim for a calorie deficit of 500 to 1000 calories per day. If you are burning enough through exercise that your calorie deficit is more than that, you should eat enough calories to bring your calorie deficit back in line.

MFP is designed to eat back exercise calories, as your deficit is already built in. Most eat a portion back, to accommodate miscalculations in both logging and overestimation of burns. Remember, the winner gets to eat the most and still lose.

Personally, I don't eat back calorie that I burn during exercise. I have a set calorie goal that lets me make good progress towards my fitness goal, i.e. losing weight. I shoot to lose ~1-2 lbs/week. The nice thing about setting your calorie goal to your fitness goal is that it takes into account the calories that you burn during exercise without you having to know what you are actually burning.
