                    For me I guess I give up on diets but I try my best anyone else out there that goes through the same I would love to here your success story so I can stay modavated.... thanks

            I have never been on a real diet and am trying it for the first time, realizing that with age it becomes harder to loose weight. I wouldn't call it a success story, but I did loose 16 lbs since February, and not even being too strict yet with diet. I'm a new member too here and am hoping it will help me keep on track. In my experience, which is admittedly not too extensive, there is no one miracle diet that fits everybody and yet there are general rules.
I believe it will be helpful to stay connected. Just tell us what your experiences are!

            Try to find things that are healthier and easy to maintain...If you go on a "diet" once you give up the diet you will just put the weight back on....I know I have been doing the yoyo thing for many years. I have started making true lifestyle changes and my fitness pal has made a huge difference. I am changing a lot of my eating habits and I know if I want a particular food for supper that will be high in calories I will need to walk or exercise enough to "earn" the extra calories I need. I will also eat very low cal for breakfast and lunch. It seems to be working great for me as I have been consistent in losing approx .4lbs per day! Once you get to your goal weight then you just work to maintain your weight.0

            I'm on the clean eating lifestyle. It has really worked for me. It really is a lifestyle change but it's worth it to live a long and healthy life.0
