Xbox 360 Kinect or Wii ?? This is for girls 10, 16 and 17 and Mom to be used on our LCD TV. We all like dancing. I want to invest in the best one for exercise and fun for us all. Which do you recommend and why?

for the xbox 360 a large room is very helpful while the wii on the other hand you need space to use as well but not as much, I have both the kinect & wii, which I find myself using the kinect more & my kids seem to enjoy it as well

I own a 360, but I have played the Wii with family as well. I definitely prefer the 360, and the controller-free Kinect is preferable for us as well.

Dance Central for Kinect is a blast!

I also have both; I think the wii is better for smaller rooms and I like the balance board and the wii fit, but I really like the the kinect is remote free and I love dance central.

I've had/have and used the Wii games, Kinect, and the PS Move. Out of the three I only currently own the XBOX 360 Kinect. I've heard good things about the Zumba dvds and the kinect game as well. Myself, I use the Kinect Sports as a warmup and then use Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. It is a great workout tool. It has interactive personal trainers cardio boxing, yoga and a lot more. There used to be a demo available for these games and believe they are still there. I would check them out.

x box kinect definately. i have both and the kinect is way better. it picks up everything you do whereas the wii you have to use a controller and it doesnt always pick everything up. the wii is easier to cheat on cuse you can just stand there and move the controller. we only have about 6 ft infront of our tv and it works fine.
i use biggest loser and zumba mainly and they are great.
