I've been eating the energy trail mix at a cup a day from wal-mart. It's about 780 calories a cup, but high in fats. They're not saturated, but I wish I could find a healthier substitute that doesn't taste like bird seed.

Any suggestions?

"Sunrise Energy" bars from costco. They have chia seed and dried fruit in them. They taste like trail mix, a lot lower in fat

Honestly I'm looking for a substitute from trail mix or trail mix bars... Not a complete substitute but something to switch things up

Make your own with a mix of things you like. A variety of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, choc chips, granola chunks, pretzels etc.

when I was bulking I consumed a lot of full fat dairy, nuts, avocados, ice cream, marbled steaks...pretty much anything I could that was calorie dense. You need to get your nutrition, but when you're bulking, calories are king...just eat calorie dense foods all day long.
