A year ago I couldn't jog a complete mile. Last month I had my fastest 5K trail race time (8:26 pace) and I run my first half marathon Sunday May 17. 35 lbs lighter, no issues with my A1C. LOTS of support from MFP members.

Wearing a dress for the first time in my adult life. I had convinced myself that my legs are just too fat, jiggly and bumpy to show in public. While I'm still a little overweight at the moment, and I'm still self conscious about my legs, I have made a bunch of skirts to take with me on vacation and I do plan to wear them!

    That's right strut your stuff!

Today I tried on a pair of pants a size smaller than the ones that were tight when I started this journey 40odd days ago. They fit!

I fight there was no way, since I still have a majority of my weight to lose AND my weight rose and started the same for the past two weeks. But the fit. I was able to sit down and still breathe and everything.

One of my "wins" is being able to eat at a restaurant while still making good choices and staying within my calorie limit for the day. Previously I would eat fast food almost every single meal, but now that I'm counting calories and budgeting, I'm saving a lot of money by cooking my own meals and losing weight at the same time. It feels good to go out with self control and not blow my diet. A couple of months ago I would have ordered the fattiest thing on the menu!
