What's the general chat about activity tracker wristbands? Have a wee notion to get one but not sure what's best.
Can anyone advise?

This question is very common. It is asked almost daily. You can find all the threats if you type "Activity tracker" in the Search option, above
    here is one link

It depends what you intend to use it for
some people want a step counter (automatic pedometer that sync with MFP), others want a calorie burned meter (Heart Rate Monitor that syncs with MFP), others want it for running with a GPS that tells them their running miles, etc, etc, etc
    Good luck in your search

    Hi Pauline!
I love my Fitbit flex, and I've written about why it's so great in two blog posts:

I use the Jawbone 24 and love it. I particularly like to see how much light and deep sleep that I get each night, and this wristband shows me this. I used to have a Fitbit and it did not show me the same level of detail as the Jawbone does.

I love my Garmin VivoFit. It's waterproof and I'm in the pool for exercise every day. I have a FitBit but it's not nearly so good or accurate. I also have a BodyMedia (now Jawbone) and while I liked it and found it accurate, it wasn't waterproof.

I think the fitbit is easier to use. I went out and bought a JawBone UP which was supposed to sync with MFP but after months of trying (I have an IT background and it was all set up properly) I gave up and sold it on ebay. It never worked properly. The fitbit app on my phone syncs with MFP perfectly so maybe a fitbit wristband would be better.
