(On response to a guy who had some life problems lately and afraid of sounding like a "*kitten*") You don't sound like a *kitten* at all. You sound like a normal human being, just like me, who thankfully has a barbell to keep him sane when things get *kitten*...and realize that one workout out of thousands does not affect your overall progress. Training is a process, not the events of one day --Mark Rippetoe, author of Starting Strength

If you click on the search tab and put in motivational quotes it will give you several links to other discussions that have included a lot of good ones. I do this when I need a little something new.
    Good luck on your journey!

Just because you're hungry, doesn't mean you need to eat. You can wait for the next meal or tomorrow!

I heard a great one on we heart it .com "junk food you've craved for an hour or the body you've craved for a lifetime, your decision" and another one I really like "slow progress is better than no progress!"

You can throw in the towel or you can use it to wipe the sweat off your face.

I'm not here to be average. I'm here to be awesome.

In two weeks you'll feel it; in four weeks you'll see it; in eight weeks you'll hear it. Keep it up!

Strength does not come from what you can do,
It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.
