Hi everyone!
I joined the site a few weeks ago but never introduced myself. So far, I've been successful in my weight loss journey this time around. I lost weight with WW a few years ago and gained it all back, plus some. This time, I couldn't justifying paying money to lose weight, especially now that WW has a new system of counting points. So, I found MyFitnessPal! I can't believe how easy it is to just count calories the "normal" way! I've already lost 6 pounds!
I'm hoping to increase my exercise and add weight training...soon!
Anyway, feel free to add me as a friend - a little encouragement from like-minded folks goes a long way!!
Cheers!

Welcome aboard
I too have lost weight previously with WW and also cannot justify paying money to lose weight. I've been on MFP since Nov 2010 and have lost 11 lbs. This is a great site and the support is awesome. You'll love it. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Way to go !! May you have much continued success, there are tons of supportive people on this website. we all here for you.0

Good morning:)
Congrats on a great start! Yes, definately add strength training to your routine. From my experience (and from alot of others on the site) when you first start out you see a drastic drop in weight and then for some reason you go through a plateau. Being on an exercise program that includes strength training really does help.
Good luck, nice to meet you.
