Photos from my hike at Dog Mountain located on north side of the Columbia River Gorge in the beautiful state of Washington. Described as "a grueling hike" was 100% worth it! From its base at 150 feet, it climbs steeply to an elevation of 2,948 feet. Rattle snake warnings, wild flowers, poison oak warnings and breath taking views! Very gratifying workout & wanted to share w. you all!

    that's amazing, it reminds me of home, only we don't have rattle snakes in Scotland.
