Vegan and SW combined - oh dear!

I've been trying my best at slimming world online and struggling as a vegan. I'm getting there slowly but need a kick up the bum! So I decided to track the calories on here as well!!
And oh my goodness!!! Even though the foods are "free" on slimming world, I've managed to eat double the amount of calories I should be eating! How does that work out?
Anyway!!
Hello! I'm not really new as I've had an MFP account, but I'm new to the community, and new to actually using MFP properly!!!!

Hi :-) I had to abandon slimming world for this exact reason! Sadly, nothing is 'free'. When I found I wasn't losing weight after a month on SW I decided to log on here. I was eating at maintenance and that was before my syns! So back to the simplest way, calorie deficit.
Welcome and best of luck :-) x0 -
Why not Just use mfp without all the other stuff ? You can eat the foods you like, while meeting your daily needs and all you need to do is weigh the foods and log them on here. It would seem much simpler.0

I have a membership, and was curious to see how many calories I was eating. Needless to say I was absolutely mortified!!
In fairness slimming world has taken me back to basics instead of over-indulging in vbites processed crap constantly, I was just surprised with how much actual food I was eating. (Because it was free, not because I was hungry!)
My membership for SW is for another 3 months and then i'll probably just let it expire then.
Thanks for the advice ladies! xx0
