Going to try again

Around the beginning of April, my grandma passed away. When this happened, I stopped exercising and eating healthy foods. Because of this, I gained 11 pounds which means I'm the biggest I've ever been (i had lost about 9 pounds before April).

I need to get back on track but don't know if I should jump back into it or gradually.

This is what I was doing:
Breakfast was a fiber one or zone bar
Lunch is usually a subway like sandwich (the subway here is expensive so everyone else goes to this other place).
Then for dinner, I usually ate whatever to get me to 100-0 calories (anything from cereal to a slice of pizza).

While at work, I would drink 2 bottled waters throughout the day.

If I exercised, it was on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (or mow yard), Sunday (or mow yard). My exercising at that time was walking/jogging 2.5 to 3 miles at a time.

I'm just wondering if this is too much to do from the 'break' I had or if I should just go right into it.

    Try Jenny Craid. I am a VERY picky eater and have found their food to be tasty. They are currently running a $49 speacial where all you pay for is the cost of food. The best thing is that you can customize as necessary. Give it a try, most importantly , DONT GIVE UP

    first of all that doesnt seem like enough calories/ the right kind fo calories

    I think that would be just fine. Sorry for your loss :cry: That can be really tough and add a lot of stress and sadness to your life. Think of this as a way to springboard back to healthy habits and help with the healing process. Make sure you eat at least your 1200 calories, possibly even 1600 (I have found that to be a good number for myself).

    On another note, I LOVE your picture! I was drawn to that right away :smile:
  • first of all that doesnt seem like enough calories/ the right kind fo calories
    i usually hit 1600-1700 a day. breakfast and lunch usually equals about 1100 so dinner so just a filler to get to the correct calorie number.

    on days i do exercise, i usually drink a protein shake (about 200-300 calories).

    i'm going to start up again this week (well i already started).

    I'm more nervous than anything but i've done it once so i can do it again!
