Hello everyone I am just starting out with a goal to lose 50+ lbs. I could really use some tips! :]

    Best advice is just track and log everything as accurately as you can so that you can make adjustments where you need to in order to stay under your calorie goal. It is that simple and that complicated! it will require dedication and effort on your part, but it is completely doable and you can get to your goal weight. Find plenty of friends on MFP who will help encourage you on your progress and who you can reach out to on tough days for support. Checking these discussion boards for motivation and recipes helps, too. Believe you can, want it badly, and put in the time and committment = then it WILL happen! Good luck meeting your goal!

    Don't fall off or lose heart when it gets tough. Discipline is the hardest aspect of getting fit but you can do it! :)
