Yeah there like 10's of us lol. I almost never log in to the site, or check the boards, because it has become very anti male. The guys that seem to be left are just the iifym bros who have no clue what its like being 300+ lbs.

So this is a good pic with the extra goo cropped out

    And with it in

I am a lot leaner right now and I am starting to get veins popping out of my upper abs but that lower part just isnt going away without surgery. People will come out of the wood works telling you to lift, and drink water, rub magic cream on your skin who knows. You can tell from my pics that I have never picked up a weight and I dont drink water (come on like wtf right). It is what it is, dont let other people shame you or bring you down. Start saving money now, if you dont end up getting loose skin awesome buy some nice stuff and if you do, you will already be ahead of the game.

Loose skin has a lot to do with Genetics. I've lost 130 pounds (I still have 20 or so to go). If you get loose skin you do but it's better than all the possible health complications of being Obese. 2 years down the line I never have had huge amounts of loose skin (which I'm lucky) but recently what little I have has started to tighten up. From what Doctors have told me it an take a few years to retract as much as it is going to. I will not need any surgery to remove any. There is no set thing in reality some people will get more than others even from the same starting positions. Don't let the 'possibility' of loose skin put you off.

Also never new this site was 'Anti Male' I've been here 2 years and never noticed

Hey Sam, you seem super negative. I haven't seen this anti-male bias you're speaking of. In any case, you've obviously lost a lot of weight and are crazy dedicated, so awesome work! Sorry your skin hasn't tightened up, hopefully it continues to improve or you can get the surgery at some point. I've got another 70-90 pounds to go, so we'll see what my skin looks like at the end... I'll get surgery if I need to.

I am not negative at all. I get to go where ever I want, and I can eat stuff with out getting that "omg look at that fatty" stare. I have a great family, good friends. I love going to the gym and lifting weights. I get to see awesome people there and have fun. I can walk up a flight of steps with out my heart getting ready to explode, hell I can walk, and I know a lot of people cant even do that. Most important I have my health, I am so lucky to have the life that I do. So you tell me WTF is a little bit of extra skin going to matter to me? I know a ton of people on this site who would love to have my baggy skin, and I am the lucky one because its not filled with fat anymore.

What I am, is the guy who will give it to people straight, with out all the flowery always stay positive bs. I tell people to put on their seat belts, not because I think they are bad drivers but I know sometimes bad stuff happens and its better safe then sorry. I never even though about loose skin when I started but it would have been great if someone would have told me, then I would have started saving sooner.

For some reason there are a lot of people (men and women) that just love to knock guys egos down. They are just normal guys, they say the wrong key word like "alpha" (a word thats rampant in the fitness industry). If you don't believe me go make a post about being macho or something. People (men and women) will come out and attack you like rabid dogs. You guys haven't seen it, great I hope you never do. I have, I want to help people but I don't want to deal with it and I know a lot of other guys feel the same way.

Have you looked into the price? How much does it cost for the surgery?

My girlfriend lost 120 lbs and was told $11K to remove the skin. If it's so bad that infection is possible it may be covered by health plans.
