Pictures for Motivation?

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone found a certain picture or clothing item that they wanted to fit in/look like to motivate them? It seems really hard for me to stay motivated for more than a few days at a time, and I'm looking for something to help. My boyfriend's been really great with trying to help me achieve my goals, and he suggested looking a picture or something. Does this actually work for anyone?

You could either post the absolute worst picture of you on the fridge or the best. Either might work. Make sure it's on the fridge0

I have an Android phone and it allows me to have photos on my home screens. I have photos of me at my worst and at my best. It helps every time I check my messages!0

The successful forums here were MY motivation. But my SIL has a picture of a chick's body that she would like to have posted on the Fridge she said she would look at it every time she walked in the kitchen and that helped her make better choices.0

I have a sticky note on my refrigerator and cupboard that says, "nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels". When I feel the urge to snack on some not so healthy snacks its the first thing I see. I also have a picture of when I was in high school that is pretty motivating for me!0

Do you still have an old favorite pair of jeans that you would like to get back into? That's what worked for me. I kept them somewhere I could see them daily so it would remind me of my goal. If you don't have an old pair you'd like to get back into, I'd even consider buying a pair in the size that you would like to be... I was someone who needed a lot of motivation so actually having something physical for me to see and to compare to was really helpful.
Good luck! You can do it! :happy:0 -
Hi Ginger,
If you choose an article of clothing make sure it's something that you're eager to wear. Don't choose to many things or you'll become overwhelmed and they will just become a pile of clothes you can't fit. I have a sweater that was given as a Christmas gift (my mom didn't know I gained weight and my size had increased) and a pair of pants. The pants I bought new but gained weight before I could wear them. Today, after losing 20lbs., I can fit the pants and I may even be able to fit the sweater but I have until the fall to make certain:D
Note: Make sure you drink plenty of water and do your cardio workouts. You'll get there if you're motivated and you stay determined;)0
