Gym cardio machines

Just wondered what routines/workouts people have for cardio on the gym machines.
I'm worried I'm going to start getting a little bored when I'm on the treadmill because I tend to stay on it for 45-60 minutes. I don't mind shortening my time on there but I'm then unsure of how to make up the calorie loss of what I normally lose.

Just put on some Netflix of your favorite show or movie. I usually do 30 minutes before I lift and then 30 min post workout0
