Its suggested you allow 500 calories a day.0

Enter it in as your cardio exercise for the day, Mfp will take into account your height and weight. So while some people may need an extra 500 calories, I only need an extra 450 and I am exclusively breastfeeding my baby.0

There are several entries in the food database for breastfeeding that will give you a calorie adjustment, just pick the one that seems most appropriate for your frequency of nursing.0
