My periods have always been regular. But three months ago it was light and only lasted 2 days[reg. for me is 5 days] , and for two months now my period has been abesent. I go to the gym every day, when I don't go which is once in a blue moon, it's because I can't. When I go I do intense workouts. 2-3 cardio machines vigorously for 20-40 minutes each then after I will go and lift weights for half an hour, if I don't lift the weights I go in for a class which uses weights or Zumba. I also feel so hungry all the time [for ex. I'll eat a meal and 1 hour later I'm hungry again]and binge on things like peanuts and Cheerios, which is part of the reason why I do go to the gym everyday. I honestly don't feel like I'm over doing it, but the absence of my period is making me think my body thinks I'm over doing it... Btw I'm 4'9 at 101 pounds , my goal weight is 90, so I obviously still have quite a bit to lose.

Whether or not you are, you should 1. take a pregnancy test if that's a possibility, and 2. see a doctor

How many calories are you consuming and are you eating any of your exercise calories back?

Leslie, how old are you? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the 98 in your username is your birth year. If so, you are 15 years old and still growing. The behaviour you are describing is essentially an eating disorder - exercise bulimia. Please see your doctor.

Listen to your body. It needs to be nourished properly with all the exercise you do. Good luck!

Talk to your doctor. You're probably getting way too few calories, but you need to make sure it's not something else. If Pu_239 is right and you are 15, don't stint on food and nutrition because you still have growing to do. You could seriously damage your health by not eating enough at this age. Discuss your concerns with your doctor. They'll be able to help you adjust your diet and exercise to what is right for your body.
