today i made an excellent discovery of a food that keeps you full...drumroll....chicken broth! Trader Joe's Organic chicken broth is only 20 cals per cup, and you don't even need to add anything to it to make a tasty soup. i couldn't believe it. I had some today with a light salad and i have to say I feel quite satisfied! and trust me, i LOVE food and it takes a lot to make me full! so i just wanted to share my little discovery with you all i had a 150 calorie lunch which is nothin' and i feel so good and satisfied right now

Just be careful of the sodium content; too much can cause water weight gain. and it's important to get protein so hopefully your lunch included some cheese or chicken or tofu or something!0

I love low sodium chicken broth! Ive used chicken broth to substitute the fats i used to add to cooking. i have been craving cabbage, onion, and carrots thinly sliced in chicken broth, i might add some noodles to that as well. That will be part of one of my meals this week.0

I love all things trader joes. I buy half a bag of groceries for $18 and half a bag of groceries at WHOLE FOODS for like $50. jeez.0

I like miso soup too. Keeps you full AND it's fermented so it's good for your digestion.0

You can make a yummy egg drop soup with chicken broth by just streaming an egg in (scramble in bowl first) slowly while the broth boils. Add a few peas or water chestnuts or any veggies you want and such a good soup! Flavor with soy sauce and or hot sauce.0
