Stuck on scale

Hi
I need some professional help, I'm new on myfitnesspal, and one of the reasons I joined is because I'm stuck, the arrow of the scale doesn't want to move anymore. I have already dropped 7 kg. from beginning of March till now. In the last month, say beginning of May, I have started seriously exercising in addition to the diet that was created for me by a specialist. As I lost weight he lowered the quantity of the food. I burn between 500 and 600 cal a day in exercise and eat between 680 and 750 cal (depending on how much fruit I eat). Its been nearly a month and I'm starting to loose motivation because I still have 8 kg to reach my goal and only 2 months and half. I'm not very optimistic that its going to happen, so if anyone can give me some helpful advice, please feel free.

You sound like you might need to eat more! Sounds silly but its true. You need calories to burn calories. If you are weight training, you especially want to boost your calorie intake. 1200-1550 cals would be my suggested intake. Your body burns through that just on regular daily activity. If youre not eating enough calories it will take from your lean muscle, and store fat. Ive lost 62 pounds, and the more you work out the more you need to eat. But on average, even if you arent working out 1200 calories should be the MINIMUM of intake. Hope this helps! Feel free to add me!

When you say 'specialist', are we talking someone who sells weight loss products? Because I'm finding it hard to believe a doctor would suggest you eat only 750 calories a day and also do 600 cals of exercise. Frankly I'm amazed you're able to find the energy to get out of bed on that regime.

750 cals a day is a drastic diet even without the exercise, it's the kind of diet given to dangerously obese people who must lose weight very fast because their health is at such great risk from their weight. Without medical supervision you're going to struggle to get all the nutrients your body needs and you are going to make yourself very poorly.

I wish you success in your goals and I admire your willpower but please talk to a medical professional about this plan because it does not sound safe.

It's probably due to the exercise, but you seriously need to eat more. 750 is not healthy or sustainable, and that becomes frighteningly low when you add in exercise calories. You're starving your body of nutrients and fuel.
