I started using myfitnesspal about a month ago when I came across this app on my phone and decided why not?

If there is anyone out there who's just starting out maybe try what I do. After entering my goals it was time to come up with a plan. My goal weight is about 190lbs. and starting where I am at now seem like an unreachable goal since I was over 360lbs. I don't know how much I weighed since I didn't yet have a scale but I was close.

The Plan: Since I am easily discouraged and love, I mean LOVE to eat I need a goal I could reach.

Goal # 1 was to track what I eat and eat less for just one day. (A Monday) I did it!
Goal # 2 Do it again. (Tuesday) Success!!!
Goal # 3 (new) Keep it up till Friday (OMG! 5 days in a row)
Goal # 4 (new) Weekend!!! Made it this far!!!

So I have managed to make it a month, I have lost about 5lbs which is fine since it took me 20 years to find all this weight I figure worst case it take 20 years to lose it.

If you goal is monthly, weekly, or even daily just start and good luck! What do I have to lose? oh yeah, my big pants!

    congrats on your loss Zoo! I think many of us here LOVE to eat and that's why we are here. the hardest thing to do is say bye to our best friend, food! Every small step is one step closer to where you want to be! Don't let food win, let the thin you inside trying to get out win for a change! You can do this!! best wishes on your journey!
