Will my skin snap back after weight loss?

I have lost 30 pounds and have about 70 more pounds to lose. I'm already noticing loose skin and I know when I lose even more I will have a lot more loose skin. Will my skin stay saggy and loose or will it firm up? Will it take several months for my skin to snap back and settle into my new weight? I am concerned I will be stuck with so much loose skin after I reach my goal weight. I hope there is something i can do?

Sorry for all the questions, just don't fully understand what I should do. Thanks!

You won't know what your skin is going to do until you get there. And no one else can tell you either. Genetics, age, and I'm sure other factors contribute to this. I've heard that you should give your skin time to adjust once you hit your goal, but I can't remember if it was 1 or 2 years. After that if you still have lose skin and it bothers you there is always the option of having it removed.

Been a year here... no change whatsoever. My genetics suck. Hopefully yours are better...

Honestly, so much of this is genetic, one of the best things to check is your mom and dad.

There is always plastic surgery to take care of just the extra skin my friend. Don't let that get you down! I will have this issue as well I'm sure, but get there first and then battle that problem.

The loose skin honestly doesn't bother me. Knowing I am the healthiest I have ever been and feeling great are worth the loose skin to me.
