Hi all,
I'm sure this has been covered, but just seeing what breakfasts people do to help with a body building regimen.
My current one is:
-3 egg whites,2 egg yolks
-5 pieces unsmoked bacon
-half a punnet of blueberries
-one liberte Greek organic yoghurt
-coffee with a little almond milk
-2 pieces unsmoked Irish ham
Total: 830 calories (40g carb,78g protein,10g saturated fat)
Anybody any other suggestions or what do they do?

If you're trying to bulk, eat the whole damn egg0

I can't say that I've bulked personally or have much expertise. But from what I've read here, it seems like people's protein for cutting and bulking stay mostly the same, and they just add carbs when bulking.
So maybe ditch the ham for some toast?0 -

Cheers, good idea, might add in some french toast with strawberries and peanut butter :-)

EAT THE WHOLE EGG!!!
And don't pay attention fad labels like organic and unsmoked. Saturated fat is also not as bad as you think.
Proats (protein powder + rolled oats) are always a good option. Peanut butter, bananas, coconut oil, whole milk, avocados... All staples for me. You could also make tasty fritattas with those eggs and some bacon - load them up with veggies and you also get a ton more nutrients and some decent fiber.0 -

There is absolutely no reason, I don't care who you are, to avoid the yolk.
Eat the whole egg.0 -
How many hours a day are you spending bodybuilding out of interest?0

Everything in moderation, given your daily diet.
If eggs comprise 30% of your daily calorie goal, then you might have an issue.0 -
Can't go wrong with a Vince Gironda protein shake0
