I'm maintaining. I eat at a slight deficit during the week. Over the weekend I go over slightly. It keeps me balanced so I don't gain weight or lose weight.

Ive lost 58lbs...11 more to go so maintenance is something I need to work on soon0 -
Not 100% sure yet, but I'm pretty positive of the fact that it will involve keeping calorie counts and maintaining my current workout routine (or adjusting to lower maintenance calories).0

Way to go! You are so close!
That is very smart of you to start planning now. Make sure you check out the Maintaining Forum as well.
Good luck!!!!0 -
I need to weigh myself every week- and continue to monitor my calories if the pounds start creeping on again. Weighing is key for me!0

Same thing I did before -eat at maintenance, adjust as necessary.0

I am losing weight by eating at the sedentary level of my goal weight, or a little under it. So so if I can sustain this, I'll be OK in maintenance. I wouldn't mind eating like that for the rest of my life.0

I've been in maintenance for 2 years now and I turned in my first survey to the National Weight Control Registry this past week
My plan:
-16:8IF with an eating window of 11am-7pm
-track calories during the week (most times in a notebook on my kitchen counter)-I usually eat a little under my maintenance calories during the week, and then eat over my maintenance calories on the weekends
-use my food scale regularly
-daily weigh-ins that I track on an app. If my weight creeps up above my 5lb maintenance range I get more strict about tracking (have only had this happen once so far)
-I eat fast food frequently and I always go on their website beforehand to check out the nutritional info/go with a plan of action for what I'm going to get
-pre-plan my food most days
And the biggest reason why I think I've been successful so far-I eat all the foods that I enjoy, with a focus on moderation and balance0 -

5:2IF isn't a maintenance plan. Dr. Mosley, the creator of the plan, transitioned to a 6:1 protocol when he went into maintenance. Others who used 5:2IF to lose weight, do daily weigh-ins and only do corrective down days when the scale creeps up.0 -
I plan to weigh myself once a week, eat at my maintenance level, continue to log my food, and exercise moderately. There may come a time that I stop logging my food every single day.0

I kept doing what I was doing.
I had hit the point where my weight loss stopped just naturally. Everything I had done worked well. I kept doing it.
Ate the same way. Worked out the same.
That was 14 years ago.0 -

I have been maintaining for over a year. My plan, as it was from the beginning of my weight loss journey using the tools at MFP, has been to eat everything I love in moderation-now it's eating my maintenance calories, then it was eating at a deficit.
I am now changing my perception of what is moderation because I want to kick my nutritional value up so that I am making sure my macros are met before adding in the treat food. It's not because I'm afraid I'll gain weight if I don't, it's just a self-challenge I want to try out.
My plan right now is to add more fresh vegetables and more protein right foods.0 -
Probably fast one day a week instead of two..0

It was kind of fun to do0 -
I just keep doing what I've been doing all along. I'm happy to say I learned some really great habits over the past two and a half years...eat right, log my entries...workout/train 5 -6 days a week...I've maintained an 80+ lb. loss for well over a year now. Feeling great and I don't have any intention of stopping!0
