I am looking to go back to Pump in the near future, after a 2 year break when life intervened. Do the lifters amongst you coumt Pump as lifting or will I need to hit the scary side of the gym to start seeing muscles emerge?

You see muscles when your body fat gets low enough.

I don't know what a body pump class entails, so I'm not much help there.

Thanks. Pump is a variety of types of lift, targetting all the body areas. set to a sound track. I really like it and am hoping it will 'count' as lifting in order to get the benefits so often discussed on here.

I do bodypump twice a week and its classed as resistance training and some say a small part of it is cardio too as there are parts of the workout that increase ur heart rate,I'm no lifting expert but not sure I would class as "lifting", especially when u read on here everyones posts etc on their weight lifting.
