Hi I'm trying to lose 2 stone. I'm 32 and have gradually put on weight since I was 30 and I now weigh 13st 4lbs, from 11st 7lbs. Most importantly for me is to lose the "man boobs". Will they go as I lose weight,or is it case of slimming down, and working out on that area. I am an absolute beginner at this stuff, any help is appreciated.

    Yes, you're at a size where the moobs will tighten up and disappear. Best of luck!

    Hi great that your here doing something about it now. I'm 40 and been gaining since I was 20 but am seeing great results with MFP.

    I'm no expert but this is what I understand from what I have read on here:
    You can't choose where your body will burn fat from, but they will go as you loose weight.
    As you loose weight you will loose some lean body mass so weight/strength training can help mitigate this. But focusing on a specific zone will only develop the muscle and may not burn the fat. So you would have great pecs under your moobs.
