Hey this is Omkar, male 25 from Hindustan(India). My height is 5'4 & weight is 69kg. So trying to reduce weight to 62-63kg. Hence planning low carb diet. I am a pur veggy & also eat eggs ;) .

Low carb diet is Carbs%:Protein%Fat% is 15%:35%:50%.

    @myheartsbattleground Actually low carb diet works as our body uses stored fat to provide fuel I.e. energy to our body. This diet is to be continued up to the point our body fat reduces up to 10%-15%. Then slowly increase carbs to 20%-22%. That's it.

    my hearts battleground no. Read what I said. Increase carbs slowly after our bf% reduces to 10%-15%.

    Low carb can be a lot of different things. A calorie deficit is what allows the body to use up stored fat.

    kommodevaran my daily calorie requirement is 1597 & I am eating 1300 calories in above stated C:P:F ratio.

    To reduce bf%. Current is 24% and I want to reduce it to 10%-12%. Tried keto in the c:p:f ratio of 5:35:60, but I am a veggy so was eating PANEER all the day & after 1 week wasn't able to eat PANEER anymore. So I gaveup that ratio and started 115%:35%:50. Current weight is 69kg & aim is 63kg. Also hit gym 6days a week with high intensity workout.
