Hi I used to be 13st+ managed to lose a couple of stone with SW but have struggled to shift the last stone for about 3 years - for maintenance this has been good going, but I'm not where I want to be. I've cut my food down to about 800 calories a day or less, it's quite easy to avoid eating by cleaning up after the family - but I know this isn't healthy. I'm scared of food now and the effect it has on us, but I'm determined to get this weight off so have reassessed, given myself a good talking to and logged back into MFP. I've upped my exercise with thanks to YouTube workouts. So fingers crossed I'll get this off for my holiday in August.

It really sounds like you might benefit from the help of a professional.

I am not an expert but you should never go under 1000 calories without being monitored by a doctor. Our bodies needs fuel to survive. I think you should speak to a nutritionist to help you with your food choices. You should not go this alone. Talk to professional that can offer you some additional guidance. Good Luck0

You need to up your calories to what your goal weight is at least. If you drop to 800 cals it will have a reverse effect and put you into starvation mode where the body holds all the fat as storage. This give the opposite effect of what you want. Just choose the healthy options with lots of Veges. Good luck0
