I love smoothies but I'm not great at making them off of the top of my head. Mainly looking for fruit smoothies but I'll take anything! Please list the name of the smoothie, the ingredients, and the amount of ingredients, including the ice. Lol. Thank you in advance!

Welcome!

This is my morning Smoothie that I have every day after my workout.
    1 Banana
    400ml Whole Milk
80g Mixed Frozen berries (Cools the smoothie).
    40g dry oats
    1 scoop whey protein powder.

It's 647 Calories for breakfast and keeps me full until lunch (although I usually have another banana half way through the morning)
    40.1g Protein
    82.1g Carbs
    18.8 Fats

I love it, let me know what you think of it. (The whey I have is Strawberry Cream)

I don't use ice so can't help there. But my typical smoothie is 1 cup yogurt 1/3 cup berries 1 banana or half one, 1 raw egg, 2 tbsp flax meal, 2 cups spinach or kale or powdered veggie 1 scoop and 1 tbsp pbutter.

also try it with goatsmilk very creamy.

I got into the habit of making and drinking smoothies with the help of this website called http://simplegreensmoothies.com/. You can sign up for a 30 day green smoothie challenge and they actually send you recipes and a shopping list at the beginning of every week. They are all green smoothies in that there is a healthy serving of veggies, but they also have a whole bunch of fruit and taste really good.

    I hope this helps!

When making smoothies try to use Almond milk instead of regular milk. It's a much healthier chose for your smoothies.
    My favorite smoothie recipe is,
    2 big oranges, peeled
    1/2 cup pineapple
    1/2 cup mango
    1 cup (or more) spinach
    1 frozen banana

I like this on the morning so it can give me a blast of energy :)

As you can see there are so many recipes i like mine mostly with fruit and berries song spinch or Kal. The important thing to watch out for is the calorie count if using protein there is 120 - 150 calories per scoop plus what ever you put on it.

Wouldn't use ice, hard on the blades and watery instead of creamy smoothies.

The base is banana and whole milk in equal amounts. Banana can be frozen or fresh.
I don't really use recipes because amount of ingredients is unpredictable (size of banana or other fruit (if fresh)), and I'll just add whatever I think will be nice. Haven't tried everything yet :p

For chocolate smoothie I add peanut butter (1/4 of the amount of banana, i.e. if 100 grams banana - 25 grams pb), and a teaspoon of cocoa.

For fruit/berry smoothies I add either strawberries (frozen), blueberries (frozen), apricots, peach (around 80% of amount of banana), or lime (peel and juice of 1 or 1/2 depending on amount of banana/milk).

Why do people add ice to their smoothies? Doesn't the milk make it cold enough, And doesn't the ice make it watery?

When i use frozen berries, i sometimes heat the milk up before adding it, to take the chill off. Especially in winter.
