I'd be afraid to share a prison cell with the last guy.....
haha precisely the reason I like to share my bed with a guy shaped like that LOL
Makes me feel very safe.
LOL!! Well said both of you =p. I can honestly agree 100% with both comments =D!0 -
Honey, a lot of people don't seem to realize that all three of those builds are HEALTHY. I am PERSONALLY a power lifter, I have a world record in the bench press (WABDL association) and personally I feel that the middle guy is a wannabe body builder and the last is a strength trainer. Apparently, there are still people that dont understand that his abs stick out, because they are STRONG. Not fat, his shoulders are "hunched up" because they are strong! There are many ways to train, personally I think a mix of powerlifting/strength training AND the cardio is the best way to go. Its the best of both worlds! However hon, the last guy's build would be hard to obtain within 5 or so years without the use of possible illegal help. Either way love, my favorite favorite is the third. I KNOW from personal experience, that he is the only one that could lift a boat! "D
Also, guys that have the last guys' build, still dont look like that unless they cut weight. The veins sticking way out and such, its all after cutting weight to make themselves look like that for pics.0 -
i think somewhere in between the slim and middle guy, but minus less huge traps(im a freak and have a weird phobia of this muscle LOL) is what i find attractive, but lots of different people find different things attractive so whatever is easier for you and is your natural body shape go with it just like us women have to go with our pear/apple/whatever shape

Solid! Me-frickin-ow!0

Wow what a question. Everyone has different preferences. I guess its like asking people whether they like Marmite or not. There isn't a right answer. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with. Sometimes we don't know what we are comfortable with until we work a little closer to it. eg. my ideal GW was 161lb now I am 1lb away from that I think I could go 7lb lighter and still have my curves. So work towards building muscle and see how it look on you.
But to answer your question, I love a slim build. Slim but muscly. I get freaked out by that "no neck, huge shoulders and tiny legs look" I see so regularly at the gym.0 -
Only out of personal preference I prefer slim build.... I do know many of my friends prefer the larger guy! good luck whatever you goal.0

Hi I like the Slim to middle0
-
A combination of slim's Abds and solid's chest, shoulders and arms would definately do it for me!:happy:0
-
Go with what works for you and is obtainable, don't push for something that is totally out of character for your fit and healthy you!
Personal preference, I like the slim, too much muscle isn't for me!0 -
I second this.
Id deffinatley say the 'middle' one however I do think there's too much muscle there for me.
Of course, thats just my personal perference.
Sorry my 'reply' to specific threads doesn't seem to work!?0 -
Hiya!
I personally prefer the slim guy, or maybe the middle. I like some muscle on a man but not too much.
But dont just take my word for it, you should be working towards the body that YOU want0 -
I personally prefer the slim guy also, but I don't really find big bulky men attractive, never have!0
-
I'd pick one or 2 of the prefered types..but reality is you might just find it easier to go with what genetics has planned for you..you will still be healthy and less frustrated haha..since apparently thats a natural physique for you.
good luck with whatever you chose..and if you're married..lol as your wife what she likes0 -
Definitely slim. I don't like guys with so much muscle.0
-
Solid gets my vote. Thick enough to have something to hold onto and big enough to make you feel protected and safe. Looks cuddly, too.
Me too! And it seems like that's kind of your natural build anyway.0 -
A combination of slim's Abds and solid's chest, shoulders and arms would definately do it for me!
easier said than done :P0 -
I'm saying the second or the third. I think if you try to do the slim one you are not only going to lose fat but you will eventually lose muscle to look like that. Everyone has a different build no matter how hard you try to look a certain way. Just keep up what you are doing and set a goal for your body type!!! Good job btw!!!0

Would this be a better middle?
195-200lbs ish, 5'9"
That's probably what I'm going for, but probably not quite that heavy.0 -
SLIM yum yum0
-
I think they are all a little too BUFF for my taste.
I'd go for the middle guy, but not quite so big.. I like firm and toned, some muscle, but not all muscle.
I'm the same way. I don't like "too much" muscle0 -
Well, I think I've found a couple goal images (right from members of this site no less...thanks =D)...that fit my natural rather heavy body type, aren't 'too' bulky...and overall look great.
First, Webbed1:
5'9" if I recall, and about 205lbs. Scale that down 2" and 15lbs...and that's about where I'll be when I'm done.
And second, dieseljay74:
Jay's a lot taller and a good bit heavier...but the natural build is the thing I'm looking at.
Both of these guys are my age or slightly older...and neither looks overly 'bulky' with clothes on...just solidly built...which is my real goal. Form follows function, and I've talked to both of these guys about their exercise routines they've used to build themselves to this point. Both are very much like mine, excepting they used weights, and for now I'm using bodyweight.
Feel free to continue with your input though...like I said, it's cool to hear. Also feel free to post up any suggestions (pictures). More inspiration is always good =D.

SLIM!
BUT...it's all about how you carry yourself. and different girls like different things. if you're confident and happy with who you are, that's SO much more attractive than the hottest body in the world. (yes, really)0
