Im fairly new to working out/eating healthy. I do very well with my eating and working out on the weekdays but the weekends are difficult. I always end up breaking my routine, no matter how hard I try! Anyone else have or had this problem? Any tips?!

First off, good on you for trying to change your lifestyle and get yourself on a healthy track. Realizing that you need to make some changes and deciding what you have to do to make those changes are always the hardest parts. Weekends are always a rough time for people watching their weight, they are especially tough on beginners. People who know they need continue to eat healthy and still make poor eating choices are what I like to call "eating in the moment". For example, you're out at a restaurant and see something you know you'll like, you know it's loaded with calories, fats, and or carbohydrates but you order it anyways because it looks delicious. I do this too, but to see results you have to do your best not to succumb to your temptations. I counteract this "eating in the moment" theory by taking a step back and thinking about how I will feel after I make this poor choice if I do decide to make it. It may taste good now, but I know I won't feel good in the morning when I step on the scale, only to find that I have gained unnecessary weight. Hope this helps and gets you back on the right path. If you have anymore questions feel free to message me. We are all in this together!

Weekly cals. I don't use daily. I skim 100 - 150 cals off Mon - Friday and add them back so I can have beer and wings one day on the weekend. I also do extra exercise (thus giving me more cals) here and there as I can. It makes me feel like I'm cheating, but I'm not, I'm just balancing my week instead of my days ;).
