Low energy after cutting calories

I've often had this issue that when I start losing weight, and have been cutting calories, I feel very tired at times during the day. Now that I am eating when I am hungry, and doing a good job knowing real hunger, I often feel tired even when I know I am not currently hungry. Do you every have this situation? I'm guessing its just my body working hard to be efficient with the energy I have given it. And its a lot of work for my body being at a calorie deficit every day, so maybe my body just gets tired out because of my changing food intake? I am not dipping below 1200 calories or anything like that, so I don't think I am consuming too few calories. Help! What do you do if you have abnormally low energy due to extra exercise/ diet changes? Thanks guys!

If you open your diary and give us a bit more information we could probably give you better guidance. E.g. your weight and height, calorie intake, general level of activity/exercise and sleep.0

Adjust macros, maybe take some fats out and put more complex carbs in. Also it's ok to carb load once in a while.0

I think that is a good place to start, the usual suspects for low energy: too few calories, too few carbs (especially if you are active), or too little sleep. Make sure you are meeting your calorie goal each day and consider upping calories a bit to see if that helps.0
