Pre Gym Snack

Hi all,
I just wonder what you all eat as a healthy nutritious pre gym snack? Currently I have an afternoon snack about an hour before working out of a cereal bar or biscuit (special K, kellogs Nutrigrain, light choice lemon cake slice, oat biscuit...) I would like to eat something more healthy at around 100 calories which is tasty too as its my afternoon snack in work too. I would rather start making something using clean foods instead of pre packaged but am open to either.
Thanks in advance for the ideas.

I cycle twice a day.. I eat porridge before my morning cycle.. A banana before my afternoon cycle. Both have lots of energy and work really well.. Some might argue that a banana has too much sugar but if you are using it 30 mins before exercise you will burn it off0

Try a fruity, low-fat yogurt, 30-60 min. before your workout. I love Kroger's Greek yogurt (it's all natural).0

I usually eat a Clif Bar 30 -05 minutes before working out. I keep a stash in my car.0

Agree fruit is a good choice, bananas being super easy to digest. More pre/post workout fuel ideas at the Get-Fit Guy page here: http://getfitguy.quickanddirtytips.com/what-to-eat-before-and-after-exercising.aspx0

Emerald Cocoa Roasted Almonds. 1 serving is 150 calories, but you can buy 100 calorie packs. Great tasting and a great boost before the gym0
