I'm no Pollyanna, but I prefer being positive, upbeat, and staying motivated. I've made 2 friends since I started using MFP, but I haven't really reached out, other than when I first started. At that point I didn't have a clue what I was doing yet. I'm now hooked up with a Fitbit and almost 20 pounds lighter. I was contacted recently by a gal about connecting with her group, but for the life of me, I can't find her again. I'm looking for like minded people to share the journey with. When I started with what I thought would be an insurmountable problem, I had no idea I could really do it. Slowly, but surely, the weight is coming off and I've never felt better. MFP keeps me on track and in line. I'm catching myself willing to cheat here and there lately though, and I don't like it one bit. It seems to just make it easier to do it again. Only positive, upbeat people with a sense of humor, please. Whew! B)

I read your profile and wanted to say hi. I'm originally from Florida too, and I miss it very much! I'd love to go running on a sandy beach any day. I love that MFP helps us stay motivated and accountable. I'm down 11 pounds now and while that is motivating alone, I do love to have positive and supportive friends. Sending you a request!

Hi, I've been back on track since May 30, 2015. Exercise and clean/healthy eating are a must to meet my goals. I turn 50 in December and plan to have definite results.

You can find friends in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

Fitbit challenges are great motivation—and fun.
