Hello, I just wondered if anyone has any tips or exercise advice for burning belly fat and hip fat please, I'm 18 years old and only a beginner to exercise

Cardio and diet.0

Eat less calories than you expend and you will lose weight. Your body will determine where that weight comes off (largely genetic)....sorry.
Cardio for building stamina, great for your heart & lungs. Burns calories.
Strength (or resistance) training for hanging onto lean muscle, great for bone health. Burns fewer calories than cardio, but the benefits are huge.
YouTube has tons of videos. Great to test drive some things, find out where your interests lie. Enjoying your workouts will help you be consistent. For the most health benefit, this should be a lifestyle change.

One thing, you cant choose where the fat loss will be first. your body decides on its own.

I would agree with all above posters: you cant spot reduce and to burn fat you have to have caloric deficit. Usually, fat burns in the opposite order it was gained.

All the above advice is excellent! I just wanted to add my bit...
Don't listen to fad diets or anything that seems too good to be true. Just remember that if there was a magic pill, diet, exercise etc then there would be no overweight people...
Grab a kitchen floor scale and weigh every single thing you put in your mouth. Drinks as well. Log everything. You bite it, you write it. If you do that with the calories mfp has allowed you then I promise you'll see results.
