How do I add photos to my recipes that I create so I can remember my finished product

I had this question too and went to the FAQs and found the following answer. You can't right now.
Hi,
Thanks so much for your question.
At the moment, it’s not possible to manually ad images to recipes, though we are interested in adding this at a future time.
If you use the recipe importer feature, and if the recipe imported from a website has a photo associated with it, we will attempt to import that photo. But manually entered recipes (and some web imported recipes) will not show photos until we add a manual photo feature.

Have you noticed issues with this? I created a recipe then when I select it it reduces the calories to like a third. I'm just adding separately at this point0
