45 and sick of being fat

Hi! I have battled an ever-bulging waistline for as long as I can remember. I have tried every "diet" known to man. I have seen some short lived success in the past. I am now committed to establishing a healthy lifestyle. I have not had any health problems YET and I want to avoid them if at all possible.

I am a super positive person and would love to make weight loss buddies for help along the way.

Me too, similar story of struggle with weight and now in mid 40s and needing to start a healthy routine for life. This app is truly brilliant, just log everything and be honest and it will work! I am finding the Mfp community so helpful as you can be yourself! And if you have a bad or good day you get support! Add me if you want :)

Good luck and wishing you the best. I have a friend who motivates me to get out walk at least 4 miles every time we meet; and she is so encouraging I get the urge to go out even when we can't meet. Having a partner who helps to motivate you and talk to about your ups and down is great. Add me if you wish.

I have set my goals to lose 64 pounds initially. After I reach that goal, I will reevaluate and adjust to continue in pursuit of fitness. Let's do this!

Feel free to add me. I too for many years would lose weight only to gain it back. However, after nearly losing my life to hemorrhagic stroke at the ripe old age of 45, i'm taking my health serious for the first time in my life.

If you eat right and exercise, the rest will take care of itself. And if it doesn't, you can deal with it at that time.

Hi. I'm not new to this but I'm restarting after letting myself go. I have 45 lbs to target. I could definately benefit from supportive people along the wau, and I'm supportive myself. I've never used the community part of this ap so I'm pretty excited. I have changed my mins et to living a healthy lifestyle with clean foods in moderation and lots of exercise. What are your goals?
