Journey Towards A new Beginning

Hello all, my name is Ryan and I am fairly new to MFP. I have been using it for about a week now and I am very happy with how user friendly it is. I have always struggled with my weight but this time I am not going to fail. I have started a video blog on youtube to chronicle my journey to weight loss.     Hi and welcome to MFP...some tips I learned from some of the big success stories is 1.) track everything you put in your mouth and use measuring cups/spoons and a food scale. Track what you eat even if you have a ridiculously bad day (calorie wise) because bad days will happen every so often -- own it, learn from it, and move forward. Not logging the food doesn't mean it didn't happen, right?!! #2 Lean on the MFP community. There are some really great folks who continually inspire me to keep coming back and to make good decisions throughout the day. That's enough outta me :) We know you can do this...you just got to believe!

    Thank you so much for the support. I just weighed in after my first week and I have lost a total of seven pounds.
