I live in PA and work at Applebee's as a cook. Grazing has killed my diet progress in the past. Hard to resist it.

    Hello there,

Wow, I don't think I'd be able to control my diet if I also worked in a kitchen! I hope you're able to find something to help with grazing!

    Good luck on your journey:-)

Hello, I own a pizza shop and feel your pain. I am 45 pounds into my 100 pound journey. Anything I can do to help let me know.

When I graduated high school at 117 pounds, I was working at a restaurant ( one of my 2 jobs ). But when I 'upped my hours' at the restaurant, I gained 30 pounds very very fast! I grazed on french fries and everything else. I found that I had to allow myself at least one meal, during the work day of all those things I loved and resist the 'grazing'. Only then was I able to 'diet'. ( Yes..I know some people do not like the word 'diet'..sorry.) :)

I have to force a break in durring the shift to eat a chicken breast or sandwich, which helps. Weak moments when temptation is too great I started nipping on lettuce leaves. I try to eat just before. I go in, but that doesn't always work. And thanks for the support.
