Broken Tailbone

This is this second time I have written about this, but at this point there is really nothing left to do I am so depressed. I can't work, I can't sit, I can only lay in one position. I go see an orthopedic surgeon tomorrow so that makes me nervous. I am afraid to eat because I can't work out. I am worried what everyone at work is saying. I have thought I have broken my tailbone before and no doubt I have bruised it and it hurt. But I can tell you it doesn't compare to breaking it into pieces. This will be my second week off work and I can imagine what is being said about me being off work for 2 weeks with a broken tailbone..sorry needed to vent!

I hope you feel better. Don't worry about what people say about you because they will always talk no matter what we do. Just hang in there and take care of yourself.0

I've cracked my tailbone before and it HURTS like a beyotch!!! :frown:
Don't worry about what they're saying at work, if they haven't experienced that then they have NO idea!!! :flowerforyou:
My suggestion: eat foods that are higher in protein and eat less carbs. Keep your body in fat burning mode.
Also, water, water, water!!!!
Good luck!! :flowerforyou:0 -
Ouch :frown: I've never had a broken tailbone (I don't think:embarassed: ) But one of my friends thought it was funny to pull my chair out from under me once and it HURT LIKE A BEYOTCH!! :grumble:
Take care of yourself and just get better :flowerforyou:0 -
I thought I broke mine 2 weeks ago it hurt so bad and then... after about a week of dealing with this pain, I finally gave in and had my Husband look at it and see if bruised and he noticed a bump. The next morning the bump started bleeding and other nasty fun – come to find out it was a cyst. The cyst got infected and for a week I could barely walk, talk, sitting was a no go. Nothing helped, it hurt so bad finally it drained. Man it hurt. So I feel for you. Good Luck0
