los angeles - high quality indian spices

Does anyone in the LA area konw where to get high quality spices for indian food? There is a market near my house but hoping to find somewhere with the freshest seeds, spices, etc. thank you in advance!

    I love this little shop in Silverlake. Everything is whole and they will grind it for you while you wait if you like. Small shop but great selection of harder to find spices.

    Also the Hollywood farmers market on Sundays (from 8-1) has a little section called "spice alley" that may be worth checking out. It's a great market either way!
