does hydroxicut actually work? I have taken them before once or twice, (I got a huge energy rush) but I have never taken them on a consistent basis. They have been around for years and are still goin strong, so is there any truth to this? Should I give these weight loss pills a shot, or is it a waste of money?

Waste of money. Track your cals and exercise; eat less than you burn.

    I've lost 80lbs on Hydroxycut!

No wait... that was CICO. Yeah, I'll stick with CICO.

Seriously, if any openly available "weight loss pill" actually worked, do you really think there would be overweight people?

I've read a hundred success stories on this forum. Never have a read one that thanked pills.

I'd also strongly recommend against this kind of thing.

I use to manage the on-campus gym at my college and every few weeks the ROTC program would carry in a student that had collapsed doing their morning PT. A handful of these situations were incredibly scary; the student would just be so out of it. I'd send someone next door to health services for a nurse and after talking with the student it was almost always involved some kind of diet pill. I don't know what it is about these pills, but they don't go well with hard exercise.

If you do decide to use them, make sure you drink extra water to stay hydrated!
