I am with you. It's been a 3 yearjourney, but I just reached the 75 pounds weight loss milestone. Using the bento philosophy, I prepare my own meals pack them everyday. The best advice I can offer is to be true to your diary entries and be aware of the food you eat. The best daily calorie ratios that works for me is 45% carbs, 30% protein and 25% fat. This app really helps with meal planning. I cook a protein on weekends and eat it for the week. I eat cheese in 100 calorie chunks, but no other dairy and absolutely nothing from a can or box (except for an occasional pretzel!). I bought a fitbit and enter the exercises to see how many calories burned. Hang in there and let me know if you are interested in my life changes that I had to make over the years. Hang in there and use this app to see how your progress. Good luck. It's not easy, but I am living proof that anything is possible.

Loosing weight is as hard as you are make it out to be. You have youth on your side. It's better to start changing your habits now. The best advice I can give you is to educate yourself and realize that you aren't just loosing weight you are making a life time commitment. I'm a but different than Jhh. For me, I value lean meat protein and fiber content. I'm never hungry and have great energy. I don't like cooking so I keep my meals simple and usually cook for the day. Cooking and taking your meals with you will give you the best control as you balance your new life after school. And always, always choose your long term happiness over the immediate pleasure. The food may taste good at that moment but after that moment is over what are you left with? A healthy body that can do the things you want to do is a greater source of happiness. I only have 72lbs to loose but you're welcome to add me as a friend.
