On a good day I have lost a total of 37 pounds since February. I have gone down a size in pants and 2 sizes in shirts.
I was doing great eating better and moving more but lately I just can seem to get it togerher. I have fallen back into bad habits and I can't seem to find the motivation to get back on track.
Anyone else fall off track and able to regain their motivation?

I just try and maintain my weight I go up and down but don't get hung up about it. You just need to keep trying and always remember we all have lapses but its a long time commitment0

Don't stop doing the next right thing. You will reap a reward if you keep pushing through. Go get 'em, tiger!0

I was feeling really bummed out myself today. About a month of good progress, down over 5lbs ...And I have been fretting over the fact that I couldn't or wouldn't stop eating at dinner. Mostly healthy food mind you, but bothered that I am still not in the slightest hungry by bed.
But let's agree that tomorrow is another day, and that today is a lesson we can build on. Without a certain amount of failure, we can't learn what we have to change in order to succeed. ☺0 -

I was really similar. Have been yo-yoing with my weight. Lost like 37 lbs the. Gained back most of it and then lost almost 20 back now. Trying to get back on it for good. If you need any encouragement add me and I'll add you back!

Happens all the time. It's part of the ebb and flow of our lives. You just gotta make yourself get back to it.0

That's true. That's where I am now. Back on track so far!0

Thank you all for replying. I was so smug the first few weeks of my journey, it all just clicked for me. I felt great and was kicking butt, but then I just started slowly sliding back into a slump.
Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone!
For some it's. A daily commitment, for me it's a serious stuggle to not mindlessly eat or snack, or ofcourse I will justify why it is ok to eat a bit of this and a bit of that. Wish I could just turn that part of my brain off.0 -
I can completely understand that. For me it has always been that daily struggle. But when I stay focused and motivated I have the self control and discipline to make right choices. It's when I go on cruise control that I have issues0

This is SO TRUE. It does come and go. You have to work with your mind and keep trying and again, it will all fall in place.0 -
Good for you to lose all of that! That is an accomplishment. Yes, I think we all struggle with motivation and backslide periodically. That's why there are so many of us trying to find help here.0
